Paradise Beach Improvement Association Minutes for the April 20, 2010 meeting Attendees: John Breen (president) Peggy Seaman (treasurer) Bob Seaman Bonnie Dausch Michael Dausch Julie Frank Al Clark Rose Mason Buck Linderborn Meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm by John Breen. Treasurers Report: Peggy read the treasury report, and the balance as of 4/20/10 was $6728.68 Old Business: John received an estimate from Chesapeake Tree for trimming the trees on both properties. The total was $2700.00. Bonnie arranged for an estimate from National Tree experts for $1440.00. John stated that he would meet with a representative from National to set up some work on the property. It was decided to cap the amount of money spent on the tree work at $1500.00. Bonnie stated that she would get an estimate on the work to restore the beach property. This includes moving the heavy rocks back to their original position and removing the blue barrels that have become dislodged from their original position. This will include an estimate to fix the broke step at the bottom of the ramp. It was reported that the letters were coming off the sign at the beach property. John stated that he would talk to Bob Brenton to see if =he could fix this. He created the sign, and is in the process of creating a sign for the community property. New Business: John brought his suggestion from the April Newsletter of having a Mayday at the Beach. He was planning to go to the beach at 10:00 on May 1st to clean it up. Any volunteers would be welcome. Al and Julie said that they would help. Meeting was adjourned at 7:25 pm. NEXT MEETING: Tuesday May 11th at 7:00pm Location: Kurtz Beach!!
