Paradise Beach Improvement Association Minutes for the April 11, 2011 meeting Attendees: John Breen (president) Peggy Seaman (treasurer) Bob Seaman Willie Nazarenus Lee Wilson Cindy Leake Joyce Goetz Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by John Breen. Treasurers Report: Peggy read the treasury report, and the balance as of 4/11/11 was $5368.58. Old Business: The dumpsters will be at the community property on June 24th and will be removed on Saturday June 25th. Paint, chemicals, tires, appliances, and tree trunks are NOT allowed in the dumpsters. A question was raised as to why the dumpsters will only be on the property for 1 day. John stated that he would inquire about this. John stated that he would like to have a May Day at the Beach this year on May 14th. This will be to clean up the property from the winter storms and spruce up the rest of the property. There is also some damage to the ramp at the beach, and it needs to be repaired to avoid potential injury. John also stated that there was a hole on the non-beach community property where the well used to be. It is approximately 4 feet square and 3 feet deep. It used to be covered by wooden planks, but the planks have been removed. We will need to get some dirt delivered to fill the hole. New Business: It was brought to the attention of the group that there was a break-in at a house on Old Home Ave., and that people should be alert during the day and night. If any suspicious activity is noticed, the police should be called immediately. Meeting was adjourned at 7:15 pm. NEXT MEETING: Tuesday May 10th at 7:00pm Location: Kurtz Beach!!
