Minutes for the March 19, 2013 meeting

Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by John Breen.

Board Of Director Election 

The first item on the agenda was the election of the Board of Directors.  All ballots were 
reviewed, and they were all in favor of electing the incumbent Board of Directors.  John 
Breen cast the ballot for the vote, and it was approved by all members present.  

Treasurers Report:

Peggy read the treasury report, and the balance as of 3/14/12 was $3286.76.  

Review of Minutes:

John reviewed the minutes from the meeting last October.  One of the items from the 
minutes was the response to the letter to the Health Department.  Apparently, this letter 
was effective and the property in question has been cleaned up and the health hazard has 
been removed.  

Old Business:

The newsletter was sent out for this meeting with the notice of the dumpsters printed on 
the envelope.  John stated that he had printed up the newsletters before he received a 
notice about the date of the dumpsters. 

New Business:

Peggy stated that the insurance cost increased by $200.00 this year.  We are going to need 
to price insurance for the property to see if we can get a better price.  The Huff Insurance 
Company was suggested, and Peggy stated that she would look into it.

John asked if anyone knew how the fence was damaged, and Bob stated that he had heard 
a story about how it happened.  John asked if it would be covered by our insurance 
policy.  Bob stated that he would find out if there was a police report for insurance 
purposes.

A new topic was raised about the darkness at the intersection of Bayside Beach and 
Paradise Beach Roads.  It was stated that there used to be a light at the intersection but it 
disappeared.  Bonnie stated that she would look into the situation.

Community Shout Out:

A shout out goes to the Lechner family for picking up 40 bags of trash from the side of 
the Paradise Beach Road.  Thank you for your community spirit.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 pm.
