Paradise Beach Improvement Association Minutes for the October 8, 2013 meeting Attendees: John Breen (president) Peggy Seaman (treasurer) Bob Seaman Michael and Bonnie Dausch Tiffany Heimer Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by John Breen. Treasurers Report: Peggy read the treasury report, and the balance as of 10/1/2013 was $3777.23. Review of Minutes: John reviewed the minutes from the last meeting. The items included the discussion of the tree trimming, the cost of the newsletter, and the solicitation for support for the tree trimming in the October mailing of the newsletter. Old Business: John stated that he sent out a request for support for the tree trimming in the October Newsletter, and we received approximately $1000 in dues and donations. Thank you all very much for your support. New Business Tiffany Heimer suggested that we attempt to get a discount by getting several people from the community to band together to get their trees trimmed at the same time. John asked if anyone knows the whereabouts of the signs for the beach property. No one in the room knew where they were. John stated that he would ask Bob Brenton if he took them for safekeeping. Bonnie stated that she would talk to Jay Hackman to have them replaced. John called for a vote to have Arundel Trees do the tree trimming at the cost of $700.00. All members voted unanimously to approve the tree trimming. Meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm. NEXT MEETING: Tuesday March 8, 2014 at 7:00pm Location: Kurtz Beach!!
