Minutes for the April 8, 2014 meeting

Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by John Breen.

Treasurers Report:

Peggy read the treasury report, and the balance as of 4/7/14 was $4242.83.  

Review of Minutes:

John reviewed the minutes from the March meeting.  One item of note is that the stumps 
from the trees that were cut down were not ground down by Arundel Tree Service.  John 
stated that he would call them and arrange for this to happen.   Peggy stated that we need 
to get in touch with an insurance company that will give us a reasonable price for 
insurance for the two properties.

Old Business:

John mentioned that he corresponded with Steve Roach, and he was willing to continue 
to arrange for the dumpsters to be delivered to the community.  He stated that they send 
him application forms every year, and he returns them with our community information.  
He stated that occasionally he gets called by the county to retrieve items that are not 
allowed to be put in the dumpsters.  A discussion ensued about how we can enforce the 
policy.  John stated that he would put the list in the May and June newsletters to make 
sure everyone is aware of the forbidden items.  Bob suggested that we post this list at the 
dumpsters to help with the enforcement. 

John stated that he received application forms from the county regarding the mosquito 
spraying.  He submitted the filled out forms to the county and is awaiting their response.  

They will post the neighborhoods that will be sprayed on May 15th.

New Business:

The dumpsters will be delivered on Monday June 16th and will be picked up on 
Wednesday June 18th.  

We are planning to have a Community Yard Sale on Saturday May 31st.  We will post 
this in the Gazette, and send out a notice to the community in the next couple of 
newsletters.

Bob stated that there was a lot of water built up on Bush Ave in front of his house and 
down the street towards the water.  He would like to have the county come out and put in 
a drain for the water.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:22 pm.
