Minutes for the June 10, 2014 meeting

Attendees:

Meeting was called to order at 7:06 pm by John Breen.

Treasurers Report:

Peggy read the treasury report, and the balance as of 6/10/14 was $4243.83.  

Review of Minutes:

John reviewed the minutes from the May meeting. 

Old Business:

John stated that the county confirmed that the Mosquito spraying would be on Tuesday 
and Wednesday nights this year.  

Bob Brenton met with Becky Andrew and repaired the sign at the corner of Old Home 
and Paradise Beach Roads. 

New Business:

The topic of the Community Beach property was discussed.  John stated that he would 
like to add a park bench to the property to give visitors a place to sit and admire 
the view of the bay.  It was brought up that there are chairs down there already, 
but these have been left by someone, and they are not in the best of condition.  
Others mentioned upgrading the property by adding a pavilion to the property so 
people could actually use the property for picnics and the like.  Since we don't 
have the money to make these improvements, the topic was shelved.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm.
